Patrick Bergen, President / CEO

With over 32 years in the industry, Patrick provides clients and staff with a wealth of knowledge with his strong Metallurgy background.

Graduating from SAIT's Welding Engineering Technologies Program in 1988, and achieving his C.E.T. designation from ASET in 1994, Patrick has continued to expand his knowledge and involvement in various organizations to the betterment of the industry.

Patrick is an active member of both the AWS (American Welding Society) and the CWA (Canadian Welding Association) where he currently sits in his 15th term as the treasurer for the Calgary Chapter. In 2017 Patrick was awarded the Robert J. Jacobson Memorial Award for "His Outstanding Contribution to the CWA Calgary Chapter Operations.

Additionally, his knowledge is being utilized in the following volunteer roles:

  • Skills Canada Judge - 20+ years

  • Advisory Committee for SAIT's Welding Engineering Technologies Program

  • Advisory Committee for the Alberta Welding Apprenticeship Program

After graduating from SAIT, Patrick started his career in Quality Control until he and 2 partners started Pyramid Prefab Piping in 1994. Patrick took on the role of Quality Control Manager which eventually evolved into President and CEO with the retirement of his Co-founders.

Dionis Bllacaku, Production Manager

Dionis joined Pyramid Prefab Piping in 2011 as he continued his studies at SAIT in the Welding Engineering Technology Program. After graduating in 2012 Dionis moved into the quality inspector role. Over the next few years he progressed upwards holding the title of Quality Manager until 2016 when he moved into the Production Manager role.

Luke Beauchamp, Quality Manager

Our Quality Manager started his rise through the ranks 15 years ago as a participant in RAP (Registered Apprentice Program)

Luke joined Pyramid Prefab Piping in 2006 as an apprentice and received his Journeyman red seal ticket and B-Pressure ticket in 2009. In 2011 he added to his knowledge base by completing the CWB Level 1 Certification and subsequently moved into the role of Inspector. After receiving his API 570 Piping Inspector Certification in 2013, Luke moved off the shop floor into the office as our Quality Inspector.

Luke received the CWB Level 2 Inspection Certification in 2015 and was promoted to his current position in November 2016.

Luke continues to further his education to enhance his industry knowledge and is an active member of the CWB (Canadian Welding Association) and attends meetings regularly.
